South Utica Newsletter #20

Welcome to South Utica Newsletter #20 by Councilperson Celeste Friend! In this issue, the newsletter introduces “Olmsted City,” a program aimed at preserving Utica’s architectural heritage, especially the Olmsted-designed parks and neighborhoods. It also covers the fall green waste pickup schedule, a shared services agreement with the Village of New Hartford, the restarting of the South Utica Neighborhood Association meetings, and the new online archive of newsletters. The issue also includes information on Councilperson Friend’s votes on the Council for September 2021, including resolutions, ordinances, and local laws such as the sale of properties, shared services agreements, and a moratorium on Convenience and Smoke Shops in the City of Utica.
