There is an incredible amount of work that goes into a grass roots, front porch politics campaign like Celeste's. Late last night Celeste and Phil worked to prepare the walking sheets that are necessary before our many volunteers like Theresa go out in the Ward to contact residents.
The candidate meets one on one with residents that contact her, our Treasurer Frank files the necessary financial reports with the state, campaign manager Trinh schedules events and writes scripts.......and then there is the fund raising!
We hope we can count on your vote during early voting starting October 26, or on Election Day November 5th.
Celeste would love to hear from the 3rd Ward:

Celeste has said that she will make a major effort to promote a robust democracy in Utica. For this to happen residents must be informed and engaged in local issues.
Early voting is just such an issue.
The effort that secured an early voting site at the Utica train station involved our campaign and many local activist organizations.
Prior to this effort by Indivisible Mohawk Valley, Citizen Action NY, Oneida Democratic Committee, our campaign, and MANY individual activists, Utica had been passed over for a legal, early voting site. Their efforts secured a Utica site.
If you push hard enough, the wall falls over! The train station is served by the number 12 Centro bus, guaranteeing that voters of limited financial means have access to early voting!
Progressive candidates running for public office in order to create a better Utica for All of Us.
